HopePunk is a genre of science fiction named by Alexandra Rowland, a Massachusetts writier, in a two-sentence Tumblr Post in July 2017. “The opposite of grimdark is hopepunk.” She declared, “Pass it on!” The punk ethos is primarily made of beliefs such as non-conformity, anti-authoritarian, anit-corpratte greed, anti-comformist.
Active or Grounded hope comes out of sutainability research as a response to big climate emotions. Through practice you can process these feelings, and increase your sense of agency. From this mindframeaction can begin.
